Mr. Madhav Mulgund, CEO of the company, had formed the “ACUMEN ENGINEERING COMPANY”, in 1988, with a goal of providing Equivalent & Compatible Spare Parts of Reciprocating Piston Type Compressors, with Highest Quality Standards, Competitive Rates & Prompt Delivery Schedules to Process & Industrial Compressor Market, in India. Subsequently, we formed “ACUMEN IMPEX” in order to cater our services to customers who are located outside India.

EXPERIENCE

In fact, Mr. Madhav Mulgund had Graduated his Mechanical Engineering in 1979. Since then, he had sufficient working experience with a leading Compressor Manufacturing Company of India, i.e. M/s. Kirloskar Pneumatic Co. Ltd.

Thus, we are supplying Compatible Spare Parts suitable for Air Compressors (Hot Air) as well as Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Compressors (Cold Air).

Initially, we were concentrating on Indian Market. We developed product range for “Kirloskar”, “Ingersoll Rand”, “Voltas”, “Accel Sabroe”, “Chicago Pneumatics” and “K.G. Khosla” makes. We even developed Compressor Parts for “Reveall” make compressors.

Our concentrated efforts on attaining Stringent Quality Control, in metallurgical, mechanical & dimensional aspects, maintaining stocks of fast moving parts and keeping Competitive Rates, had carved a niche with our various customers.

SALES PROMOTION

It can be interesting for you to note that our business was augmented because of Sales Promotional activities by our customers on our behalf. Due to this mouth to mouth publicity, we were progressing by leaps & bounds.

Prior to 21st Century, we started receiving enquiries from other countries. Of course, we did not face any difficulties, as most of those spare parts were available with us and supplied in time.
